Esther Sadler

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Esther holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She earned an Honours Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Studies from Guelph-Humber University and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Humber College. Esther is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She is also a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).


Esther’s education and experience have instilled in her a passion for supporting children and adolescents with navigating life’s challenges, which may include struggles with anxiety, low mood, peer relationship challenges, low self-esteem, transitions, and emotion regulation. She understands the important role that families can play in supporting youth with navigating mental health challenges, including supporting youth with applying strategies to daily life. In addition, Esther’s background in the early childhood education field has also deepened her understanding of the different developmental stages that youth may experience and how this may impact their mental health.



Esther's approach is collaborative and built on a foundation of warmth, empathetic understanding, and unconditional positive regard. She works to develop a safe, non-judgmental environment to support building a foundation of trust with clients. Esther’s approach is eclectic, drawing from evidence-based approaches including Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Narrative Therapy. She tailors her approach to meet each client's individual needs. Esther is committed to developing an environment where clients feel listened to, supported, and respected.
