Dove Holland

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Dove holds a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is a Qualifying Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She is also a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Dove earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, where she also minored in sociology and critical race studies.


Dove is passionate about working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and interpersonal issues. She has a special interest in working with individuals struggling with chronic pain, and has helped clients work through the mental challenges associated with endometriosis, POTS, chronic migraines, and medically unexplained pain. She has special expertise in women’s issues such as postpartum depression and identity building, as well as performance and resilience therapy. In this area, she supports athletes, performers, and high-achieving individuals in strengthening their mindset, managing pressure, and developing skills to recover from setbacks while maintaining balance and well-being.


Her practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Time-Limited Psychodynamic Therapy (TLDP), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Additionally, she is Gottman Level 1 & 2 Certified in Couples & Family Therapy, having obtained her certification from the Gottman Institute. Her training with the Gottman Institute allows her to work with couples, helping them develop skills to navigate challenges and deepen emotional connection.


Dove's primary goal is to build a deep therapeutic connection rooted in safety, hope, and understanding. Through creative use of psychodynamic interventions, she aims to support you on a personal journey of enlightenment and change. She hopes to help you better understand your emotions and the origins of personality traits, without feeling alone.
