Chelsea Dickson

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Chelsea holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is a Qualifying Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She also earned an Honours Degree in Child and Youth Studies from Brock University and an Addiction Graduate Certificate from Laurier University.


Chelsea is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges. She has experience working with anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, and body image. As well as challenges related to social anxiety and peer relationships, executive functioning challenges, self-criticism and negative thought patterns, and coping with transitions and uncertainty.


With a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach, she creates a safe space where clients feel heard and supported. Understanding the unique pressures that young people face, Chelsea helps her clients build confidence, develop coping strategies, and foster resilience.


Beyond individual therapy, Chelsea has facilitated teen anxiety and ADHD support groups, deepening her understanding of emotional regulation and self-doubt.


She tailors therapy to each individual, integrating evidence-based approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. She is also certified in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1).


Chelsea is committed to creating an affirming, supportive environment where adolescents and young adults feel empowered to explore their emotions, overcome challenges, and grow into their fullest potential.
